Hunter Valley Storm & Flood 2007

These images are of the very short, but high impact storm that occurred on the June Long Weekend in 2007, most intensely in the Lower Hunter Valley of NSW, Australia, with the City of Newcastle being flooded in several suburbs, and the Hunter River almost breaching its levees. The wide flood plain of the Hunter River was covered with metres of water cutting off roads and rail.
