Black Rock, on the north-west coast of Rarotonga, is the only rocky outcrop on the entire coast of the island. The columnar jointing obvious in the outcrop varies in attitude, as indicated by near vertical "columns" in the area of the photographer and "inwardly leaning" columns on the right side of the outcrop. |
